After I received the memory chips I installed them in my computer so I could play better my video game. I actually had 4 256 MB chips in four banks in a Dell Dimension 8300 for a total of 1,024 MB and my idea was to bring it up to 2 GB but after a few minutes playing the game it started to freeze. Doing regular computer stuff didn't affect the computer but seems that when it is used intensively the memory start to acting up. I removed the new chips and put back the old ones and I didn't have any problem since.
I don't recommend this memory modules for this reason.

There's not a lot I can say. Excellent product, speedy delivery, made my computer exponentially faster since it was an upgrade from the original 256MB of RAM.

This memory is the easiest way to upgrade your system.

Upgraded from Compaq 512MB to these. Vista came to life! Then I added Compaq's memory to it (all 4 dimm slots filled for 2.5GB total) and had no conflicts at all!

Now all I need is an AMD 4800, socket 939 processor. If you find one write me!

This little pair just give me enough speed to run Windows Vista in my old 4 year computer... Two of them... a brand new video card and a bigger hard drive... voila... brand almost NEW computer for me.

the memory worked great and the price was very good but the shipping by USPS took two weeks to get from Georgia to Tennessee
