4 out of 5 stars Great looking keyboard   January 6, 2009
This keyboard is excellent. Not only is it comfortable to type on, but it looks quite nice. The iTunes controls are nice as well. Only reason for 4 stars is I feel (like many Apple products) that the price is a bit high for a wired keyboard, but that's a small gripe.

4 out of 5 stars Works very well   January 6, 2009
Works very well, sleek design and excellent "feel" when typing.
The metal casing makes it very sturdy. The only difficulty is the position of the USB ports, needs some time to get used to it. It also does not work with USB drives that require some power.

3 out of 5 stars Nice keys, but Quirky is anything but Mac OS X   January 6, 2009
--Good--
+beautiful design
+Good Short key action
--bad--
-On my linux machine it randomly disconnected several times and now it doesn't even relink up.
-USB v1.1 for non Mac users
-Function keys F1 through F12 (not including F5 and F6) are only function keys if you press the fn key right to the backspace and above the delete key. For most keystrokes this makes this keyboard a major waste of time. I bought this to replace my aging dell PS/2 keyboard.
-If you rest your wrists on the surface before the keyboard (which is the worst way to type) you will get RSI so invest in a wrist rest.

--Bottom Line--
Buy only after you have visited an Apple Store unless money isn't an object.

4 out of 5 stars overall typical Apple quality   December 26, 2008
I replaced a wireless microsoft ergonomically designed keyboard with the new traditional Apple keyboard. Design is classic, keyboard response is crisp. Has a very good feel to it. Functions more naturally with my iMac. All the keys are applicable. Only issue for me, with large hands, is that I had gotten used to the more curved spread-out ergonomic keyboard and I'm having to re-train to the tighter layout.

4 out of 5 stars Clean look, keys a bit soft   December 24, 2008
I have been used to desktop keyboards that have strong tactile feedback. This keyboard is more like a laptop keyboard on the feel. Love the look and lines of the keyboard. The bigger keys are nice and easy to find, I am not a touch typist.

The USB connectors on the side are a nice addition and help with the number of wires coming out of the back of my mini.
