Email down for 6 days, no explaination. No ETA or information about the problems. Terrible service. Unreliable and unhelpful.

This could be a great product but it isn't and Apple is doing a terrible job of letting customers what they are doing to fix it. Give it a month or so then check again. For now, stay away.

They LIED - as to call a spade a spade, not as advertised others would say, this "exchange for the rest of us" is nothing more then crap - no push nothing working properly since launch, apple slowly but surely is becoming microsoft.
As i now proclaim to be: mobileme is VISTA ONLINE!

Just like Yellow Jacket, I was a happy and proud subscriber of dot Mac. Everything seemed so easy back then until MobileMe came into the picture. I don't want to go through the experience again. The transition from dot Mac to MobileMe was horrific and caused me undue stress. Technical support is nowhere to be found and if ever you get to them, don't expect a resolution. Faulty product, not worth your money and your sanity. Buy at your own risk.

I have been a fairly content .mac customer since 2002 (Family Pack since 2006)... a few problems here and there, but overall, it hasn't been bad... until NOW...
The MobileMe transition has been horrible... I, along with many others (check the discussion boards over at apple), have had no email for days and days now... This is completely UNACCEPTABLE...
Upon complaint of the lack of email service, apple throws this in your face: "The Service is designed for personal use and not intended to be used for commercial business purposes, including, but not limited to, transacting online sales or software distribution via an e-commerce site."
So... it seems clear that MobileMe is a "hobby" and not intended for serious use...
I won't even bother to describe how horrible the "push" service is... How it won't sync birthdays to the calendar in my iPhone... How some contacts have mysteriously just disappeared or have lost data...
Stay away from this product! Just go get a FREE gmail account, it is much more dependable!
